A St. Louis man was arrested in Hamilton County Monday after a trooper found 100 pounds of marijuana in the SUV he was driving.

The Nebraska State Patrol says 29-year-old Jean-Patrick Ounanian, of St. Louis, Mo., was heading eastbound on Interstate 80 when a trooper stopped his Chevy Suburban near the Giltner interchange for failure to signal.

The trooper then found 100 pounds of marijuana in seven duffel bags stored in the SUV's cargo area, according to the state patrol. They say Ounanian gave the trooper consent to search the vehicle.

Ounanian was taken to the Hamilton County Jail for possession of marijuana with intent to deliver.
