Lincoln – Over 200 lbs. of marijuana was found during a routine traffic stop near Lincoln on Friday.
A State Trooper pulled over the 2007 Chevy pickup heading east on I-80 just after 7 a.m. when the driver, a 50-year-old Florida man, failed to signal.
According to the State Patrol, the driver, Michael Catalano, gave the okay for the trooper to search his vehicle. The search turned up 10 bales of marijuana in a cardboard box in the bed of the pickup. The pot weighed in at 243 lbs.
Catalano, of Palm Bay, Fla., was lodged in the Lancaster County Corrections on a charge of Possession of Marijuana with Intent to Deliver.
