The U.S. Air Force blasted 29satellites into orbit Tuesday night.
The rocket launched from NASA's Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia. One of the satellites is the first tobe built entirely by high schoolers.
The TJ3SAT was created by students at Virginia'sThomas Jefferson High School for science and technology. It weighed about threepounds and took seven years to build.
The satellite will allow students andamateur radio users the opportunity to send and receive data from it.
