Nebraska-Michigan Set forESPN2
Lincoln – ESPN and the Big Ten Conference announcedthat Nebraska's Big Ten home opener against Michigan on Thursday, Jan. 9, willbe televised on ESPN2 at 8 p.m. (CT).
The game time was previously announced as 8 p.m., but thetelevision network was undetermined until today. The Huskers will host the NCAArunner-up Wolverines, as the only home game in a five-game stretch afterChristmas.
The Jan. 9, game is the final holiday break game and alimited number of tickets are available in each level, with prices ranging from$10 to $30. Tickets can be purchased by visiting Huskers.com or calling800-8-BIGRED. In addition, UNL students can still purchase a limited number oftickets available, but would need to call the Nebraska Athletic Ticket Officeduring office hours to purchase.
The Nebraska Athletic Ticket Office is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.this Thursday and Friday with limited office hours over the holidays (10 a.m. –2 p.m. on Dec. 23, 26, 27, 30 and 31). Regular office hours will resume onThursday, Jan. 2
A reminder that a limited number of tickets for Saturday'sfinal non-conference game against the Citadel have become available because ofwinter break and can be purchased by visiting Huskers, calling 800-8-BIGREDduring office hours or at the Pinnacle Bank Arena Box Office beginning 90minutes prior to Saturday's tipoff.
The Huskers are 7-3 on the season following a 79-67 win overArkansas State on Dec. 14, and have won eight straight home games dating backto last season.
