The sounds of Christmas filled the Great Platte River Archway on Thursday evening, as over 160 musicians from all of Kearney's elementary and middle schools put on their annual December concert.
These students worked for about an hour on Thursday's performance, to bring their talents to the public.
"Our students, once they've been here one year they are looking forward to returning the following years. Parents enjoy coming out here because the arch is so well decorated," said conductor Carol Ellwood. "It really gets them in the spirit, so it's a nice way of getting the holiday season going."
This concert is always the first Thursday of December, and has been a tradition for at least 10 years.
If you missed the performance, you can catch an encore performance during Holiday Harmonies on NTV and KFXL on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
