The Grand Island Police Department says an arrest has been made in connection with the January 2013 robbery of a Grand Island Wells Fargo Bank.

Authorities say 36-year-old Jason Tyler was arrested under the name Jonathan Williams in his home city of Salt Lake City, Utah on July 10. Tyler had lived in Grand Island previously.

The robbery occurred January 28, 2013 at the Wells Fargo Bank at 920 West Second Street in Grand Island.

Police previously said the robber showed the teller a note demanding money, but did not brandish a gun. The teller complied with the note, and the robber took the money and left.

Authorities say Tyler is currently incarcerated in Salt Lake City and awaiting extradition to Nebraska.
