The Nebraska State Patrol is asking for the public’s help to identify a man whose body was found near the Big Blue River in Seward County on Wednesday.

An autopsy was performed, but currently authorities are only saying it appears the victim did not die of natural causes.

The patrol says they are investigating the death as a homicide and need help identifying the victim. Authorities say no identification was found with the body.

The victim is an Asian male believed to be 25-to-45 years of age, and is approximately 5’7” tall, 140 lbs., with black medium length hair and brown eyes. The man was wearing a dark blue t-shirt and blue and white athletic shorts.

Authorities are hoping a distinctive tattoo (see above) on the victim's upper left arm will lead them to his identity. Anyone with information is asked to contact the Nebraska State Patrol at 402.479.4921 or Crime Stoppers at 1.800.422.1494.
