      Wind-Damaged Grain Bin at Minden's KAAPA Ethanol Torn Down

      Mother Nature's fury badly damaged a grain bin, leading to its removal in what took just one minute.

      In rural Kearney County, metal crumples under the pull of just one cable; and in approximately 60 seconds, KAAPA Ethanol's badly damaged grain bin came tumbling down in a cloud of dust.

      The structure was torn down after being hit by high winds during last Saturday's severe storm, which also caused damage at many other elevators, and to crops, pivots and homes in surrounding communities.
