Baked Apple Brie

Apple Compote




  • 1 cup water

  • 3 apples sliced, peeled

  • 1 tbs brandy

  • 1/3 cup brown sugar

  • 1 tsp cinnamon

  • 1 tsp nutmeg


Bring water, brandy, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg to boil. Add apples. Reduce to simmer for 20 minutes until thickened and apples are tender.


Wrap wedge of brie in puff pastry. Bake in 350 degree oven until pastry is golden brown. Top with apple compote and roasted garlic.
