Feedlot operators in Nebraska will get the chance to receive expert advice at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension Beef Feedlot Roundtables.
The roundtables, taking place Feb. 19-21, will feature university and industry representatives speaking on feedlot economics, animal health, nutrition and management which include a producer panel on adapting to the current environment, and a research update.
The discussions will be held Feb. 19 at the Gering Civic Center in Gering, Feb. 20 at the Phelps County Extension Building in Holdrege, and Feb. 21 at the Nielsen Community Center in West Point.
The event will begin at 8:15 a.m. and end by 3:30 p.m. The Nebraska Beef Council will sponsor lunch and give an update on new beef products.
Registration is $40 and runs from 7:45 to 8:15 a.m. local time. Cost to attend is only $30 with preregistration turned in by Feb. 14.
