CAMBRIDGE, Neb. (AP) — A southwest Nebraska official says a body found in a creek may be that of a person who's been missing for about a year and a half.

The body was found in Medicine Creek on Sunday.

Furnas County Attorney Tom Patterson says three juveniles discovered the body while floating on inner tubes from the Medicine Creek Dam to Cambridge.

Patterson says the person may have committed suicide. The person's name hasn't been released.
