Broken Bow Woman to be Contestant on "Ammo and Attitude"
A woman from the town of Broken Bow, Neb. is one of six contestants who will appear on the reality television show "Ammo and Attitude".
Kimaree Woodward will now have the opportunity of a lifetime to showcase her talents on the world stage.
"This is an opportunity of a lifetime and I'll never get this chance again and so I want to be the best I can be," said Woodward.
When she received the phone call that told her she was chosen for the show it was a bittersweet day.
"I was in shock when I got it. I was getting ready to go into my grandpa's visitation. He had passed away and the call came through and my son was going to use the phone and so I didn't answer it and I picked the voicemail up and it was just a shock," said Woodward. "It was kind of like a special person was helping me out."
This hobby is in her blood. Woodward's father and brother both shoot and taught her most of what she will showcase on the show.
"I've kind of grown up with it my whole life," said Woodward.
"She can shoot," said Bernie Woodward, Kimaree's husband.
And just a little bit of attitude is needed to prove she's the best for the show.
"If you ask any of my family or friends they would probably tell ya that I have an attitude," said Woodward.
"I'm just really excited to go and have this experience," she added.
She will head to Florida for 15 days in April for the shooting of the show. It airs on NBC Sportsnet.
