A vehicle slammed into a Phelps County building Saturday, sending a gas meter through the roof and setting the building on fire.

There isn't much left of the Erickson building in Funk, after it was hit by a vehicle driven by 25-year–old Trisha Baethge.

The building on Highway 6 and 34 caught fire following the collision, and crews were called to put out the flames.

According to a Phelps County deputy, the driver claims that she was cut off by a vehicle pulling a camper trailer, causing her to drive off the road.

The driver was treated for minor injuries.

The crash is still under investigation.
