Central City School Board Fills Vacancy After Recall

Central City farmer Tim Williams was selected Monday night to fill the vacancy on the Central City School Board.

The spot was left vacant after the recall of Kent Malm in January.

The remaining five board members chose Malm's replacement from a selection of applications received by the February 14th deadline.

This was all prompted by the firing of football coach Darin Garfield last year.

Following the recall, Dale Palser, Central City School Board chairman, said its back to business as usual.

The School Board also approved the resignation of Rod Engel, Elementary Principal and is in the process of looking for a superintendent for the coming school year.
