Christine Boggy was born in Fremont, Nebraska. She graduated from Fremont Bergan High School and then attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas where she earned her Bachelor of Arts degree with Honors in Journalism and Mass Media Studies.
While in college she interned, and was later hired, at ESPN Radio in Las Vegas, Nevada where she delivered on-air sports updates. After graduation Christine worked in production for the Kansas City Royals as well as for ABC Sports/ESPN covering college football, Monday Night Football and the College World Series. Following a stint in production with Turner Sports in Atlanta, Georgia, she took her first on-air television job as a news reporter at WDAZ in Grand Forks, North Dakota. Prior to accepting her position at NTV, Christine was the sports reporter/anchor at KLEW in Lewiston, Idaho.
Christine grew up in a family where weekends revolved around traveling to basketball, softball and baseball tournaments. Her passion for athletics and competition together with her love of writing, traveling and meeting new people led her to pursue a career as a sports reporter. Christine feels NTV is a perfect fit because she loves Nebraska, its sports and its people. NTV provides her the opportunity to bring viewers the sports stories of interest to them.
In her free time, Christine enjoys golfing, playing softball, watching sports (especially baseball), camping, shopping and traveling. She loves dogs, the Huskers, the Royals, college baseball and minor league baseball. She also enjoys flying small planes and hopes to have one of her own someday.
