Coaches Take Loper Netters Third

      MIAA Race Likely Between UNK, UCM & WU Again

      Kearney, Neb. – The Nebraska-Kearney volleyball team has picked third in the 2014 MIAA preseason poll.

      Head coaches vote on the makeup of the poll and cannot vote for their own teams. Interviews will all the leagues’ coaches can be found HERE.

      Coming off a 28-7 (12-4 MIAA) season, the Lopers must replace three players who each reached the 1,000 career kill milestone.

      UNK received 108 points and two first place votes with defending champion Central Missouri (115; six first place nods) and Washburn (110 points; four first place votes) ranking first and second, respectively. The top five is rounded out by Central Oklahoma (86) and Emporia State (76).

      The Lopers start fall camp on Monday, August 18th. The team will hold a public scrimmage at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 2nd.
