A 51st state could soonbe on the horizon and it wouldn't add any extra real-estate to the Lower 48.

If all goes as planned for NorthernColorado residents this could be the case.

On Tuesday voters in 11 Northern Coloradocounties will decide whether they want their commissioners to move forward witha plan to break away from the state.

This vote comes after a groupcalled "Club 20" spoke out. They believe they've been ignored by the Denver-centricstate legislature.

The group claims lawmakers passed aliberal agenda on matters like civil unions, energy policy and gun control.

Critics of this plan believecongress wouldn't allow it if the movement makes it to that point.
