Games and activities taught kids about the journey of water and the colors in nature.
Council members say the goal is to get children more aware of the environment.
"The State Fair's just a really really really good time to put the CYC and the nature explorer out there and we thought it was important because it's a really, really good opportunity to get kids interested in nature,” says CYC member Abigail Richling.
CYC is made up of 26 sophomores, juniors, and seniors from all four Grand Island high schools. The group does community service projects and lends a voice to local politics.
