Deadline Approaches to Complete Survey for GI's Grander Vision Project

Hall County residents are encouraged to complete a survey asking for input on the future vision of the area before the July 31st deadline arrives.

Grand Island and Hall County officials plan to use information gathered by the survey to learn more about the wants, needs and desires of the community for future planning.

The online survey contains 21 question concerning topics such as parks and recreation, economic development, entertainment, retail, education, healthcare and housing. It is estimated to take about 10 minutes to complete and is available in both English and Spanish. The survey will be available at through July 31.

Two open house presentations for the Grander Vision project have been set for Aug. 6 and Oct. 2 with locations and times to be set at a later date. The meetings aim to gather community input and feedback.

The Grander Vision effort is working toward the completion of a Vision Action Plan by late fall 2014.
