      Distribution Centers in Wisner, Stanton, Wakefield Filled to Capacity

      Distribution centers in the northeast Nebraska towns of Wisner, Stanton and Wakefield have been filled. Center organizers respectfully ask that no additional donations be made until additional specific needs are identified.

      Area residents are also reminded to visit the distribution centers if they have unmet needs. Victims who are staying with family or friends can still get items from the centers.

      The Wisner distribution center will be closed Monday, June 30, but will reopen at its new location on July 1, at 9 a.m. The center has been moved to the Stalp facility just south of Wisner, 1751 6th Rd.

      The Stanton distribution center is located at the VFW Post 3602, 1106 Veterans Ave.

      Wakefield distributions are at two different locations. Meals and food are available at the Salem Lutheran Church, 411 Winter St.. Clothing is available at the Nearly New Store, 303 Main St.

      These locations have a wide variety of items including: food, personal hygiene products, clothing and laundry supplies.
