Five DWI Arrests Made During Hall County Special Enforcement

The Nebraska State Patrol says their weekend special enforcement resulted in the arrest of five people for driving while intoxicated.

As part of the special enforcement, NSP troopers and county authorities conducted high visibility patrols throughout Hall County during the evening hours on Saturday, August 2. The focus of the campaign was to reduce serious injury and fatality crashes with a special emphasis on impaired driving.

NSP says five motorists were arrested for DWI. Other citations and warnings were issued for speeding, open container, no child restraint and no seat belt.

The special enforcement was paid for in part by a grant from the Nebraska Office of Highway Safety.
