Former State Senator Bob Kremer Dies at Age 77
Former state Senator Bob Kremer died Tuesday at the age of 77 of an apparent heart attack.
He grew up on a farm south of Aurora where he learned to help around the farm with the land and the livestock.
Kremer served as District 34's state senator from 1999 to 2007, during which time he served on several committees including as chairman of the ag committee.
He was also active in several other organizations, such as the Corn Growers Association, Farm Bureau Federation, Nebraska Cattleman, Ag Builders of Nebraska and the University of Nebraska Advisory Committee.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Friday at Pleasant View Bible Church, 307 Manor Drive, Aurora.
Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 19 at the Pleasant View Bible Church in Aurora.
