VALENTINE, Neb. (AP) -- The Nebraska Game and Parks commissioners will consider staff recommendations for 2013 waterfowl hunting regulations when they meet next week.

The meeting is scheduled to begin at 8 a.m. Aug. 30 at the Niobrara Lodge in Valentine.

The recommendations include those for waterfowl seasons and increases in daily bag limits for teal, canvasbacks, scaup and Canada geese.

The commissioners also will consider an increase in the possession limit on rail, snipe, woodcock and dove from two times the daily bag limit to three times the daily bag limit.
