      Gas Prices Continue to Fall During Summer Season

      Average retail gasoline prices in Nebraska have fallen 5.4 cents per gallon in the past week. This made the average price $3.43 per gallon on July 20, according to the daily survey of 1,150 gas outlets in the state by GasBuddy.


      The decreasing price is the case across the entire country. The national average that has fallen 3.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.57 per gallon.


      Compared to last year, prices on Sunday were 19.9 cents per gallon lower in Nebraska than the same day one year ago. There has also been a decrease in prices compared to last month. On Sunday, the price per gallon was 13.6 cents cheaper than a month ago.
