      Gas Prices in Nebraska Continue to Fall

      Average gasoline prices in Nebraska have fallen six cents per gallon in the past week. This decrease makes the average $3.38 per gallon on Sunday, according to GasBuddy.com. The company surveys 1,150 gas outlets across the state to calculate the average.

      The Nebraska price is cheaper when compared to the national average. This number has also fallen by 4.9 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.51 per gallon.

      Including the change in gas prices in Nebraska during the past week, prices yesterday were 23.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 16.7 cents per gallon lower than last month at this time.

      This decrease has been a trend nationally as well. The national average has fallen 16.5 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 11.7 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.
