Grand Island – Doyou have questions about the new health care law?
The Grand Island Public Library and the American Association of Retired Persons(AARP) are co-sponsoring informational sessions for people who want to learn moreabout it.
The sessions will discuss how toobtain coverage through the Health Insurance Marketplace, tax credits availableto reduce the cost of insurance premiums, the law's benefits and protections,and new coverage options.
You can attend the session whetheror not you have health insurance or coverage. October sessions will take placein the computer lab at the library, located at 211 N. Washington St., onSaturday, Oct. 19, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and on Wednesday, Oct. 23, from 11a.m. to 1 p.m.
In November the library will beoffering four more sessions on this same topic. More information will bereleased to the community closer to session dates.
These informational sessions arebeing offered as part of the library's eGov services which provides publiccomputer access to citizens who want to make use of local, state, and federalgovernment online programs.
