Update: G.I. Police Respond to Shooting
Grand Island, NE —
Grand Island police say they're investigating a Sunday shooting as self-inflicted.
Just before 6:00 p.m. officers were called to the 3100 block of Brentwood Circle for a 62-year-old man with shotgun wounds to his chest.
GIPD Capt. Dean Elliot says there are not searching for suspects, and that the man was talking with police before being taken to CHI Health St. Francis.
Elliot says it was an "intentional self-inflicted" wound.
