About 75 competitors take to the dirt tracks, as they see who can pull the heaviest weight the furthest.
It's 'ag entertainment' at its finest, during gibbon's 45th annual tractor pull.
Officials jokingly say it all started when two farmers wanted to see who's tractor was better, But now, it's grown to point systems and high octane.
"45 years is a long time and it's been a lot of evolving through the years," said organization chair Ivan Klein. "First tractors obviously didn't have this kind of speed to them, but now some of these run over 100 mph wheel spins and horsepower that make them what they are."
The tractor pull continues Saturday on the west side of Gibbon on Highway 30.
