Hardy Man Pleads Not Guilty to Sexually Assaulting Toddler
A 24-year-old Hardy man has pleaded not guilty to allegations that he sexually assaulted a 2-year-old child in August.
James Wheeler Jr. entered his plea in a Nuckolls County courtroom Tuesday.
A baby sitter reported that the toddler appeared to have been abused. The child was immediately removed from the home and taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Wheeler was arrested following the resulting investigation.
