Hastings Woman Busted for Dealing Meth

A traffic stop turns into a drug bust in Hastings, and more arrests could be coming.

Ana Heras, 24, of Hastings, was stopped on Highway 281 near Lochland Road early Friday.

Police Sgt. Steven Murphy said Heras had a significant amount of meth, larger than someone would have for personal use.

Heras was arrested for possession with intent to deliver.

Another person in the vehicle, Renn Helleberg of Grand Island was cited for marijuana possession.

Sgt. Murphy declined to say just how much meth Heras was carrying, saying they are still working the case.
