Hearings Set for Broken Bow Women Accused in Toddler's Death
Dates have been set for two Broken Bow women who are accused in the death of a toddler last November to appear in court.
Brittney Pryce, 23, and her mother, 50-year-old Diane Hill, each face charges of second-degree murder and felony child abuse.
Pryce is scheduled to appear in Custer County Court on April 28, while her mother's first appearance is set for May 5.
The two were arrested last month, accused in the Nov. 22, 2013 death of 20-month-old Noah Pryce.
Authorities say Noah was taken to the hospital in Broken Bow on Nov. 17 with a head injury. He died of his injuries at the University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha a few days later.
The boy was a ward of the state, and Brittney Pryce and her husband were his guardians.
Both women are out of jail on bond.
