The Nebraska State Patrol says heroin was found during a traffic stop on Interstate 80 just west of the Beaver Crossing exit.

According to the patrol, a trooper stopped a speeding vehicle around 11:30 a.m. Wednesday. During a search of the 2007 Dodge Charger, the trooper found two pounds of heroin under the center console.

Authorities say the drugs have an estimated street value of $360,000.

Joe Bolanos, 31, of King City, Calif., was taken to the Seward County Jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver.

A weekend traffic stop in the same area led the arrest of two people and the seizure of nearly 60 pounds of cocaine.
