A 25-year-old Hershey man has been convicted of vehicular homicide for the death of 24-year-old Korey Huebner last January.

Micah Koch pleaded no contest to the homicide charge on Monday after prosecutors dropped a drunken-driving charge.

Authorities say Koch was drunk when he crashed his pickup on Jan. 27, 2013 near Sutherland. Police investigating the accident said the truck hit an embankment and landed in a roadside ditch.

The crash killed Huebner and injured another passenger in the pickup.

Koch's sentencing has been scheduled for April 28.
