Trumpets and trombones will be blaring through the streets of Grand Island during the Harvest of Harmony Parade this Saturday. Bands all across central Nebraska are getting ready for the big event.

The Holdrege band was up plenty early for practice Thursday morning. They have been walking the streets around the high school to prepare for the Saturday performance. The dusters will perform "Raiders" which is the "Indiana Jones" theme song.

One tuba player says he can't wait to play in front of a big crowd.

"It's a lot of fun walking through the streets and seeing all the little kids on the side and they are like wow, that is such a big instrument and at the same time there are other times in the parade where I don't even feel it because you kind of just get used to it," said Jacob Harvey.

You'll want to pay special attention this Saturday, as the band features a scene right out of the movie "Star Wars". During their performance the color guard will have a light saber fight.
