A trooper with the Nebraska State Patrol found over 100 pounds of marijuana in an Idaho man's truck after he was stopped for a traffic violation on Monday afternoon.
John Henman's 1999 Dodge pickup was stopped on Interstate 80 near the Lincoln Airport exit for failing to signal, failing to maintain his lane and for not having a front license plate.
Henman, 28, of Boise, Idaho, gave the trooper consent to search the pickup. The trooper found 124 pounds of marijuana divided up between 63 packages. The packages were hiding in a compartment beneath an external fuel tank in the bed of the pickup.
Henman was taken to Lancaster County Corrections and charged with possession ofmarijuana with intent to deliver.
