Inaugural Community Health Fair Deemed Success
Organizers called Grand Island's firstcommunity health fair a success Saturday.
Around 700 people attended theinaugural event at the Community Field House.
Local hearing, eye and dental expertswere among those available during the Get Well G.I. Fair.
"We have so many differentdiseases and ailments that people suffer from every day and they just don'ttake the time to take care of themselves," said Jenna Rivera from Active FamilyChiropractic & Acupuncture. "We, right now, have a ton of different healthproviders and vendors here for them to get the information need and hopefullyto build their wellness team."
Free spinal screenings and obstaclecourses were part of the fair Saturday.
Organizers said they hope to make it an annual event.
