Judge Says Neb. Work Ethic Camp Will Teach Man to be a Criminal


A Lincoln judgerefuses to send a newly convicted felon to the "Nebraska Work Ethic Camp."

Judge Steve Burnssaid that all the man would learn there is "how to be a criminal."

24-year-old Brett Dovellpled guilty to attempted robbery, his first felony conviction. Dovell washoping the judge would give him probation and rehab services at the work ethiccamp in McCook.

However, the judgesays people he's sent to the camp end up violating probation after havingproblems with inmates.
