Kearney residents will have the chance to offer ideas for capital improvement projects at a public meeting on Tuesday.

Kearney City Council members will hear input from residents on ways to use the half-cent sales tax increase that was approved in 2005.

Council members and city staff encourage residents to bring their project suggestions, saying they might inspire new projects or influence existing ones.

The meeting will take place at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, in the council chambers, 18 East 22nd Street.
