Kearney Man Charged With Bomb Making Pleads Not Guilty

A Kearney man charged with making explosives out of hishome will be heading to trial after sending in a written not guilty plea last month.

Daniel Sindt, 43, is charged with felony possession of a destructivedevice and unlawful possession of explosives.

Officers were called to Sindt's home on reports of medication theft inNovember.

Police reports say that while officers were searching the home they found a small explosive and other elementsneeded to make more bombs like it.

Sindt's estranged wife says her twin six–year–old boys werealso involved in making the explosives.

Sindt's trial is tentatively scheduled for March.
