Kearney Restore Ministries Helps Out Colorado Flood Victims and Nebraska Tornado Victims


Alocal group traveled to Colorado to help flood victims. Kearney Restore Ministriesis back from two trips this past weekend.

Thelocal group helped flood efforts in Colorado and tornado victims in Wayne, Nebraska.

KearneyRestore Ministries sent a group of 15 to Sterling, Colorado for four days. On Saturdayand Sunday another group of 15 volunteers went to Wayne, Nebraska.

Originallythe Colorado trip was the only one planned, but when disaster struck in the group'shome state they organized the second trip.

Thevolunteers helped out four families this weekend. The group set the initialstages for the victim's homes to be rebuilt.

VolunteerBrandon Luke who was on the Wayne trip shared what he experienced.

"It'sreally neat to serve God in this way, it's a joy, honor to do that, god callsus to serve the people that are in need that are hurting, this is a greatministry to do that," said Luke.

KearneyRestore Ministries says they are always looking for new volunteers.
