The grandstands at Fonner Park were full as Leadem In Ken took the track’s biggest horse race, finishing nine lengths over second place Midnite Poppa.

Leadem In Ken, ridden by jockey Azael De Leon and owned by Kenneth and Sarah Ramsey, defeated last year’s winner Diamond Joe and Joy Boy, both favored to win the 2014 Bosselman Pump and Pantry Gus Fonner Stakes and $75,000 purse.

Unsaddled Glory came in third in the one and one-sixteenth mile long race for three year olds and up that featured seven horses.
