A ribbon cutting ceremony for the expansion took place Tuesday. Many local residents, including the mayor, were in attendance.
The 75,000 square foot addition adds a combined total of 150,000 square feet of product space.
This is the second addition the company has made in recent years. It was put on hold after the recession hit but work picked back up in late 2011.
And their expansion over the years has also brought more jobs to the area.
CEO Tom Henning explains, "We've added new employees every year, and the work force we have here in Kearney is great, has a great work ethic and a great team of people that work at Cash-Wa.”
Cash-Wa employs roughly 530 people.
