      Local Club Owner Unhappy with New Ordinance

      The owner of a strip club says a new Buffalo County ordinance is costing him thousands of dollars a week. The ordinance approved in February requires adult entertainment venues to be closed between 1 a.m. and 10 a.m.

      Jonathon Canterbury, the owner of Paradise City in Elm Creek is asking for a grandfather clause for existing clubs.

      Canterbury says more than half of their business was generated between 1 and 4 a.m..

      The Buffalo County Board of Supervisors agreed to schedule a public hearing.
