A Scottsbluff man accused of robbing a bank has pleaded not guilty to the robbery charge as well as to the charge of possession of a controlled substance.
Michael Scott, 42, sat quietly in court while the pleas were entered last Friday.
The robbery occurred Nov. 21, the day before Thanksgiving, at a branch of Valley Bank in Scottsbluff. The robber did not show a weapon and no injuries were reported.
Scott's trial is scheduled for March.
Scott has also pleaded not guilty to charges in an unrelated case. He has been charged with theft by deception and fraud. His trial for those charges is set for February.
