McCoy Officially Puts Name on Governor Primary Ballot
State Senator Beau McCoy has officially put his name on the ballot for the Republican primary for governor.
"Nebraskans deserve a proven conservative as their next governor" said McCoy, who was elected to the Nebraska Legislature in 2008 and 2012.
McCoy, a business owner, currently serves as chairman of the Committee on Committees and is a member of the Revenue Committee and the Transportation and Telecommunications Committee.
"As Nebraska's next governor I promise to continue working for Nebraskans on the issues that matter most -- lower taxes, controlled state spending, creating high-paying jobs for Nebraskans, and providing the best education possible for our children," said McCoy Wednesday.
