LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) -- More monitoring wells will be installed after more diesel fuel was discovered above the groundwater near the new Pinnacle Bank Arena in Lincoln's West Haymarket.

A small amount of fuel was found by monitoring that followed removal of a large diesel plume in early 2011.

The new wells will be near the newly built parking garage, the Canopy Lofts apartments and the Hyatt Place Hotel, north of O Street.

City compliance administrator Frank Uhlarik says the fuel in the recent discovery presents no health risk. He says there are no vapors present and no threat the fuel will spread to Salt Creek.
