Dry conditions and above normal temperatures have helped Nebraska farmers nearly finish the harvest season.

According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, farmers saw at least six good daysfor field work last week.

The corn harvest is nearly complete, with 91 percent of the crop brought in, ahead of the 83 percent harvested at this time last year.

Many producers are now starting on fall tillage and fertilizerapplications.
