Nebraska Game and Parks Names Swenson Administrator for Parks


LINCOLN, Neb. (AP) — Jim Swenson has been named administrator of parks for the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission.

Swenson succeeds Roger Kuhn, who was promoted last month to assistant director for development.

Swenson is a native of Oakland. He holds a bachelor's in natural resources and wildlife management from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.

Swenson's full-time employment at Game and Parks began in 1986 as a park superintendent at Enders Reservoir State Recreation Area. He transferred to Eugene T. Mahoney State Park in 1992 and was promoted in 2000 to be the east region parks manager.
