GRAND ISLAND, Neb. (AP) -- Bank branches in two small central Nebraska towns will be closing.
Nebraska State Bank & Trust says its Mason City and Octonto branches will be shuttered on June 30.
The Grand Island Independent reports that bank president Stuart Fox blamed the closures on a drop in the number of customers.
Both branches had been Farmers Bank branches and were bought by Broken Bow-based Nebraska State Bank in 2008.
