Whether it's running, biking or going to the gym -- just how much exercise do people get in different states?

A new poll ranks the states in their dedication to exercise and Nebraska cracked the top 10. Fifty-six percent of people in Nebraska said they exercise for 30 minutes at least three times a week.

Vermont took the top spot with 62 percent and Hawaii came in at number two.

Some states didn't fare as well.

People who live in Delaware exercise the least. Less than half reported exercising three times a week. West Virginia and Alabama also came in at the bottom of the list.

When taking a look at the nation as a whole it doesn't paint a very active picture.

The survey found that the national average for people who exercise regularly slightly decreased in 2013.
